Minnesota State & Federal Law require all youth sports coach's take and pass the SafeSport & Concussion Awareness training. The MBA also requires all coaches to complete a background check. Please click on the links below to complete each certification.

Please be sure to list Monticello Baseball Association wherever necessary in completing these trainings so that we can easily check the details in order to process any applicable refunds!
**USA Baseball does require you to create an account with the provider for the service to be free.
**Make sure you "Join" the Monticello Baseball Association organization in your USA Baseball profile or you may not get credit for completing the required certifications.
* You will need to upload a copy of your concussion certificate when completing the certification registration.
USA Baseball has a significant amount of resources for coaches, players and parents. The Monticello Baseball Association has agreed to give registration refunds to recreational and competitive team head coaches of 9U teams and older for completing the following levels of USA Baseball certifications.
Coaches "A" Certification - $25 Refund
- Approximately 3/4 hour to complete.
Coaches "B" Certification - $100 Refund (max registration fee)
- Approximately 1.5 hour to complete
Coaches "C" Certification - $185 Refund (max registration fee)
- Approximately 3 hours to complete. (Must complete an on demand community clinic)

**The maximum refund a coach can receive is $185 or 100% of their child's registration fee, whichever is less.
**Courses must be completed by June 1st of the season to receive a refund.
